This may improve certain qualities of the product, like an increase in heat resistance. After mixing, the plastics are given a final shape using molding, dying, and other shaping tools.

Molding involves cooling molten plastic, which is then hardened in a mold to form the desired shape. It involves a process called injection molding, where pressers create different end products, such as car parts. Blow molding is another kind of molding involving blowing air into the mold to make bottles. Rotational molding is yet another kind of molding that helps in making hollow parts like canoes and fuel tanks.

The welding process helps mix plastics when plastics don’t merge with adhesives or other methods. A filler material helps fuse different plastics, especially when these plastics have different melting points. This filler material acts as an adhesive in fusing plastics.
